Implementation of market data solution, and retirement of legacy system for a tier-one bank

A tier-one bank selected a market data solutions vendor to replace their legacy systems as part of a comprehensive market data transformation program. The goal was to establish an enterprise-wide solution encompassing instrument reference data, market data, corporate actions, FX and commodities.

Menrva provided program leadership through a dedicated team embedded within the bank, including a program manager responsible for overseeing client and vendor development teams, managing stakeholders and driving the overall transformation. A data subject matter expert and delivery lead guided the program through requirement analysis, design, development, testing, data migration and release management.

Menrva acted as an independent arbitration layer ensuring alignment between vendor and client on deliverables and business outcomes. The team collaborated to establish program timelines, define the delivery roadmap and manage integration with multiple data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE etc.) and exchanges. Menrva also led internal stakeholder engagement and managed the bank’s end to end testing framework.

The program concluded successfully after three years, with all markets implemented and full decommissioning of the legacy system.
