A Singapore-based insurance company needed to comply with IFRS 17 for reporting cash flows derived from insurance contracts. To achieve this, the client selected a commercial off-the-shelf solution for faster implementation.

Although they had limited experience with production workloads on the cloud, it was determined that deploying the solution on AWS would be faster and more efficient than using their on-premise datacenter.

A five-person team, including a solutions architect, cloud engineers, a security engineer and a scrum master, collaborated with the client to design, configure and deploy the cloud infrastructure, optimizing it for scalability and reliability.

Strict security protocols including VPN connectivity, identity and access management (IAM) integration, and data protection were adhered to.

The solution was successfully implemented within four months, and the compliance reporting deadlines were met.
