An Indonesian bank, traditionally reliant on relationship managers to handle extensive paperwork for small medium enterprise (SME) lending, sought to streamline and optimize this process. The bank requested a custom-built digital solution to enhance the end-user journey and improve operational efficiency.
A team was assembled with a solution architect, front-end and back-end engineers, a cloud engineer, security engineer, QA testers, and an agile scrum master.
A scalable, secure system was designed and the user interface developed. The system ensured seamless deployment to the cloud environment handling secure data transmission and compliance. Quality assurance validated the solution before handover.
The new cloud-based solution was delivered in six months, and enabled SME customers to submit their lending applications digitally, reducing reliance on in-branch paperwork. The information was routed to relationship managers, who could easily access and export the data.
This was one of the bank’s first cloud-based origination tools and led to a significant increase in new lending volume, transforming the customer experience and operational workflow.
